Am I missing something?
Compare Arcane Conundrum & Frustration
Now compare Drain Enchantment & Revealed/Inspired Enchantment
The first example is what I'm mainly asking, but the second as well. I wasn't aware that ANet *liked* to make skills 100% superior (to a point of making a skill totally obsolete) than other skills. In the former case, that's true, the latter case, I'd say 90%
Could anyone explain this please?

yes, there are skills that just totally outclass an older similar skill.
Its been happening since Trading Card Games. Where newer cooler cards have just came out and totally made using older versions seem stupid.
Purge Conditions and Mending Touch as a choice for self condition removal anyone?

>_< i guess i was just under the delusion that since this game was so much like magic: the gathering, that it would hold as much true as there is no single card that is in any situation 100% better (power 9, and lands don't count >_>)
oh well, it doesn't bother me at all

Ironically enough, my comments were indirectly refering to M:TG, as well as some other TCGs.

Drain Enchantment isn't strictly better than Inspired; Inspired has a 20 second recharge, and has a very useful side-effect. They're fairly even, I'd say, and heavily favoured towards Inspired if you've got another E-Management like Power Drain.

heh, if i didn't clarify, i meant it the other way around
other than a few paltry points of energy (that's more than made up by inspired's quicker recharge time, and utility)

I think in both examples the skills are fairly even. DE gains you more energy, but doesnt have the side effect. And which one is better? AC or frustration? I'd say they're balanced fairly well.
